Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has strongly denied allegations made by his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, regarding the nurse involved in his son’s tragic death.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo on February 19, 2025, Wunmi claimed that Aloba prevented them from arresting the nurse who administered the fatal injection to Mohbad.
However, addressing the claims during a TikTok live session on Tuesday, Aloba refuted the allegations, stating:
"I have never set my eyes on the nurse. We have never met in person. If I have ever seen her, it would have been on the internet. I never had any conversation with her, nor have I ever mentioned the nurse when narrating what happened to Mohbad that night. I didn’t see any nurse present, and nobody introduced her to me."
His response comes just hours after a Lagos State Magistrate Court cleared singer Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and PrimeBoy of any involvement in Mohbad’s death, while confirming that the nurse in question will face trial.
