FIFA has officially announced the 11-player shortlist for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024, highlighting some of the top performers in world football.
Manchester City’s midfield maestro, Rodri, who clinched the Ballon d’Or 2024 last month, leads the nominations. Joining him is Vinicius Junior, the Ballon d’Or runner-up, along with several other elite stars.
Real Madrid dominates the list with nominees like Jude Bellingham, Dani Carvajal, and Federico Valverde, while Kylian Mbappe earns his spot following his standout performances for Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Voting is now live on FIFA’s official website, allowing fans to have their say in this prestigious award. The results will be determined through equal weighting of votes from fans, media representatives, and the current captains and coaches of all men’s and women’s national teams.
