Reports have it that the president arrived the Eid Praying Ground in company of his aides and relatives at about 9.48 a.m. and the president performed the annual sacrifice of slaughtering of the ram immediately after the prayer session.

After the prayer, the President showed his agility and fitness to contest for second term by trekking over 800 metres from the prayer ground to his private residence amidst chanting of `Sai Baba’ by well- wishers.

In their different messages, the President, the Chief Imam that led raka'at and the Emir of Daura huge Muslim to be accommodating and follow the injunctions of Allah.

Also, on the quest of Sallah celebration, Corps members in Duara visited the President at his lodge, a situation the President said he always look forward to during Sallah period and categorically affirmed how important the NYSC scheme is in fortifying the unity of the country and also charged the corps members to be a good ambassadors of the country.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that the President gave the corps members half a million naira during the visitation.
