President Muhammadu Buhari has been declared the winner of the presidential election in katsina state which is his home state.



He polled a total of 1,232,133 votes beating his closest rival Atiku abubakar of peoples Democratic party PDP who polled total of 308,056 votes.

Katsina has total registered voters of 3,210,422 and number of accredited voters are 1,628,865. The total number of votes cast is 1,619,185. While 63,712 were rejected.

Buhari won all the 34 local government councils in the state.
