Remember that this is the fifth time he will be contesting for the post of the president in the country. In 2003 and 2007 he contested under the umbrella of all Nigerians peoples party ANPP of which he lost in both years, he later came back in 2011 and contested under CPC which he lost again, he now joined the all progressive Congress political party APC in 2015 in which he finally won and took over power from the then incumbent president of the country Dr goodluck Jonathan. But he has disclosed that after this years elections, that he won't be back again.
