The National Examinations Council, NECO, is set to hold the Senior School Certificate Examinations, SSCE, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The accreditation process was led by Minister of State for Education, Yusuf Sununu, and NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi.

During the accreditation visit, the delegation assessed the school's facilities, including examination halls, classrooms, laboratories, library, curriculum, and security measures. Minister Sununu encouraged the school's staff and students to uphold Nigeria's reputation as good ambassadors, not only in Saudi Arabia but across the Gulf States Cooperation Council.

Following a thorough assessment, the school was deemed suitable to serve as an International Centre for NECO SSCE Internal exams and received full accreditation.

Prof. Wushishi, the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO, emphasized the importance of school accreditation to ensure adequate teaching and learning facilities conducive to examinations.

The delegation was warmly received by the Consular General, Amb. Bello Kazaure, and the School's Proprietor, Alhaji Abdulkadir Maikudi, upon arrival at the school. Additionally, they visited the Nigeria House in Jeddah to engage with consulate staff.

NECO currently operates international examination centers in Togo, Benin Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, and the Republic of Gabon.
