It is a sad development for the Obafemi Awolowo University community as the University lost one of his finest Vice Chancellors in person of Prof.

Anthony Elujoba.

Elujoba who was the acting VC for the university between 2016-2017; a professor of the faculty of pharmacy, and an indigene of Ile-Ife.

He was involved in a ghastly motor accident on October 25, 2022 with his wife. The wife died on the spot and the prof was in coma for some days before he finally killed the bucket yesterday, November 2.

Naijacrawl learned that the professor and his wife were going for vacation in London last week before they involved in the accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on their way to the Muritala Mohammad international airport in Lagos.

May God grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
