Recalling the trauma, Ayo Adesanya revealed that despite suffering relentless physical abuse—even being beaten whenever her ex-husband saw her—she stayed in the marriage due to the fear of public judgment.

“He beat me so much that I became an alcoholic. But I couldn’t leave because of the shame of people saying I couldn’t keep a man,” she admitted.
