Kaffy, a Nigerian dancer who currently holds the world record for most world records, has explained why Hilda Baci's record wasn't verified by Guinness World Records as soon as it was thought they would.
According to The Daily Post, Guinness World Records announced on Monday that it would need to conduct reviews before officially recognizing Nigerian chef Hilda Baci's record for the longest individual cooking marathon.
Kaffy, who in 2006 broke the record for "Longest Dance Party," said technical hiccups might prevent people from being verified by Guinness World Records. She was commenting on the perception of a delay in the Guinness World Records.
Using social media, Kaffy claimed that it took nearly two weeks for Guinness World Records to recognize her achievement in 2006.
She wrote: “A lot of people attempt and succeed in beating timelines but don’t get verified because of technical errors.”
She prayed that technical errors would not ruin Hilda’s attempt.
