In 2018 it's unclear who has made more success, between, we still have 3 more months into next year and within this period anything can happen. But judging by the 9 months we have used, we can pin point one artist who's ahead, based on songs, endorsement and shows.

Talking about songs, both artist has dropped few songs in 2018 with Davido dropping more songs this year, and the growth of DMW stars are rapid compared to star boy stars. Mayorkun, Dremo and other guys aren't doing bad at all. Star boy stars aren't doing too bad too but we hardly hear from them, except for the song which had Wizkid that they featured in "Soco". The song literarily brought them to limelight but it seems WizKid hasn't done enough to put them on the big screen, or probably the time ain't just right.

Davido has more awards to his name thus year, following the viral song "If" and "Fall" which he did in 2017, it also won him headies and BET awards. Wizkid has not been too much in the studio this year, he's been working more on the international scene and on his star boy brand.

WizKid has gotten more endorsement to his name tho and also has made name for himself. WizKid launched the Nike Nigeria Jersey, which the super eagles used at the world cup, he was featured along side Davido in Pepsi advert but he took a step further by featuring on the Pepsi world advert which featured Neymar, Countinho amongst others.

Davido has been more stable of recent following his commitment to his lover chioma, WizKid hasn't been on the gentleman side has he has had baby mama dramas and Ben rumoured to be dating Tiwa Savage, also recently on a date with Nomi Campbell. Although he has made up for this by floating his own Nike Star boy jersey which sold out in 10mins and also on one of the biggest runway in the world for a fashion show.

With these it's hard to say who has had the most successful year, but you can be the judge. Who has a better year?
