Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, has praised Grammy winner Burna Boy, calling him an "African giant.

"

The news comes after the singer's much-anticipated "One Night in Space" event sold out on Thursday.

Oluwa Burna na Giant, you are true, true ooo," Don Jazzy posted on Twitter. "Congratulations on everything." I take advantage of your blessing for myself and everyone else who wishes you well. Continue to make us proud, bro. "

Burna Boy is the first Nigerian artist to sell out New York's Madison Square Garden.

Burna Boy has sold out the O2 Arena in London, the Accor Arena in Paris, and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

This "One Night In Space" concert follows Burna Boy’s recently sold-out debut at LA’s The Hollywood Bowl, the Governor’s Ball and the 2021 Global Citizen Festival.
