Popular gospel music minister Frank Edwards has endorsed Peter Obi of the Labour Party as the party's nominee for president in the 2023 election.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, the singer asserted that no matter what the outcome of the election, he would happily cast his vote for the former Anambra governor.

He wrote, “At this point clearly and carefully, I will vote for Peter Obi." No matter what happens, at least I’ll be sure I tried to put my thumbs up in support of salvaging Nigeria.
“If at this point people are already dodging events! What are we still talking about? Abeg Abeg”.

Naijacrawl recalls that other celebrities, including popular comedian Mr. Macaroni, had declared Peter Obi their preferred candidate for the forthcoming poll.
