I Go Save, a Nigerian comedian, has responded to Ubi Franklin, a talent manager, after the latter threatened to give anyone who made a joke about him and his children the Will Smith treatment.

Ubi came to Instagram to call out comedian Bovi for making a joke about him and his kids when hosting the Headies in 2021, shortly after a video of American actor Will Smith hitting Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkette, at the Oscars went viral.

I Go Save, a comedian, reacted by siding with his colleague Bovi. He mentioned that the Will Smith incident had become a pattern among celebrities.

I Go Save, who highlighted that comedy is to cure social vices, stated anyone who gets a girl pregnant, abandons her, and does not pay child support must be used as content for jokes, in response to Ubi's remark about a joke Bovi made about him a year ago.
