Precious Obisoso, a Nigerian beauty queen, has vowed to surpass Agbani Darego's accomplishments and even outperform the supermodel from Rivers State.

Agbani Darego, a beauty queen, became the first black woman to win the Miss World title in 2001, making her the first and only Nigerian to do so.

The 60th edition of the Miss International 2022 World Finals is scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan. Miss Obisoso, who won the Beauty of Africa International Pageant, Baip, in 2019, spoke ahead of the event.

Precious, Miss International Nigeria, claims Miss Darego's aura is similar to her own and she aspires to break her long-standing record.

It's time to represent my beloved country and bring home the Miss International 2022 crown, the 24-year-old model wrote in the caption of a photo she posted on Instagram of herself with the Nigerian flag at the airport. Really looking forward to this wonderful experience and am excited."

With the grand finale taking place on December 13 at the Dome City in Tokyo, Japan, Precious will battle with over 70 representatives from other nations across the world to emerge the winner and become a successor to the reigning Miss International, Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand.
