Renowned music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori, has opened up about a significant health battle he’s currently facing.

The 29-year-old, who has been off the radar for some time, recently disclosed that he underwent a kidney transplant, which unfortunately was not successful.

In a heartfelt post on X, TG Omori shared that his only brother had selflessly volunteered one of his kidneys in an effort to save his life. “Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” he wrote, expressing the deep bond and sacrifice within his family.

On his Instagram story, TG Omori posted photos of himself lying in a hospital bed, receiving oxygen, with a caption that reflected the gravity of his situation: “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”

In an update reported by News360 Nigeria, TG Omori revealed that the transplant had failed, marking yet another setback in his health journey. He urged the public to keep him in their prayers, writing, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.”
