Oderhwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, a well-known Nigerian comedian and content creator, has warned that someone is using his private video to blackmail him.

He claimed the threat to expose his bedroom video was made by the blackmailer.

Before the blackmailer released his private video, the "Machala" crooner claimed he made the decision to inform the public.

On his X handle, Cater Efe wrote, “I am here to publicly announce that I am being blackmailed. And that my sextape will be released soon.

“I am just here to let everyone know before it’s out.”

According to The Daily Post, it is become more common for celebrities from Nigeria to leak their personal videos online.

Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal made headlines recently after her private video surfaced on the internet.

She, however, clarified that the bedroom video was with her estranged fiance and that it was released without her consent.

The thespian threatened to take legal action.
