his brother, Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-Money, have vowed to take full responsibility for the late actor's children until they are self-sufficient.

The funeral took place on Friday in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State.

Junior Pope tragically passed away on April 10, 2024, in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State. He was returning from a film shoot when the boat capsized, claiming his life and three others.

Kcee said, “On behalf of my brother, E-Money and our friends, I want to say sorry to the family. Junior Pope is a blessing to this generation. He is somebody that we will never forget in this generation.
“My brother is the godfather of his first son. The friendship we have with Junior Pope has been for ages. When the unfortunate incident happened, my brother said to me that we were going to take up responsibility for his three sons till they were grown.
“But we can’t do that without the support of the family. So we are saying it openly to the family, we are ready to take care of the three kids to any level they want till they are grown to cater for themselves. We will take care of their education, feeding, clothing, and holidays. We are not doing it to show off but to honour our friend’s dying wish for a better life for his children. And we took it upon ourselves that we are going to support this family to train these children.”

Kcee and E-Money’s promise to support Junior Pope's children has touched many hearts, showcasing their commitment to honoring the memory of their late friend and colleague.
