In spite of the fact that their divorce is currently pending, well-known Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, publicly honored his estranged wife, Anita Okoye, on her 34th birthday.

With a special shout-out to Anita in honor of her birthday, Paul shared Anita's birthday photo shoot on his Instagram story.

"Happy birthday, Anita Okoye," he wrote.

In the midst of their protracted divorce, Paul had avoided his wife's 33rd birthday the previous year.

The dissolution of Anita and Paul's marriage had been requested in August 2021. The official divorce petition was leaked, revealing information about the marriage's demise. This petition listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the marriage's irretrievable breakdown.

Anita responded to the singer on her Instagram story by thanking him for sending her husband a birthday message.

Paul Okoye's birthday message was reposted by Anita, who added "Thank you."
