In a video that made its way around the internet, the adults were seen fighting and trading blows while the Nigerian national song was being sung.

Although the cause of the brawl among the individuals is unknown, Nigerians have expressed outrage, claiming that their actions are an insult to the Nigerian national anthem.

Apart from the established norms, which state that everybody present where the anthem is being sung must stand erect and face the flag, their actions are in direct opposition to the hymn's plea for peace and unity among residents.
