Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has surrendered to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Yaba after being declared wanted by authorities.

NaijaCrawl earlier reported that the Ogun State Police Command declared the controversial artist wanted on Monday over his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties.

Confirming the development, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed that Portable voluntarily turned himself in on Wednesday.

He further stated that operatives from the Ogun State Police Command will take custody of the singer from Lagos.
