After testing positive for COVID-19, singer Dino, 17, will miss the group's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and a concert in Houston, Texas.

Dino will not be participating in some upcoming promotional activities, according to a statement released by the South Korean record label Pledis Entertainment on Wednesday, August 17. Dino tested positive for the coronavirus.

On August 16 (PT), Dino underwent a PCR test in Los Angeles, and COVID-19 confirmed the results. The label posted an English statement on SEVENTEEN's official Twitter page that read, "He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat and has been under self-quarantine and administering self-treatment away from the other members." Since then, tests on the boy band's 12 surviving members have revealed they are virus-free.
