Nigerian Juju music legend, Shina Peters, has shared the remarkable story behind his ordination as the first bishop of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.

The 66-year-old singer revealed that the decision was divinely inspired.

In a recent interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Shina Peters explained, “The Almighty God directed the church leaders to ordain me as the first bishop of the C&S Church. This is because my music has consistently incorporated hymns, helping me win many souls for Christ.”
Known for blending spirituality and entertainment, Peters emphasized how his unique musical style has set him apart. “Most of my songs are deeply rooted in hymns, which makes them resonate spiritually with people. I tried to avoid the ordination initially, but eventually, God arrested me,” he added.

Shina Peters’ ordination marks a milestone, not just in his illustrious music career but also in his spiritual journey, showcasing how faith and art can intertwine to inspire and uplift others.
