After receiving 5 of his 8 Headies nominations at the 15th Headies Award ceremony, the music star is on the rise.

He received awards for his record-breaking song Essence in the categories of "Song of the Year," "Album of the Year," "Best Collaboration," "Best R&B Single," and "Best Afrobeats Album."

With more than 20 Headies, Wizkid is currently the artist with the most accolades. This information was released shortly after Kanye West declared "Essence" to be the greatest song in musical history.
