Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, whose real name is Ayo Balogun, has issued a generous N7 million reward for the return of his phone, which went missing during the Nativeland concert in Lagos on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

The unexpected loss occurred after Wizkid surprised fans with a stellar performance at the event. Known for his hit songs like "Ojuelegba," Wizkid's appearance was one of the highlights of the evening. However, the excitement took a sour turn when his phone mysteriously disappeared during the show.

Reports indicate that Wizkid is offering N5 million for the phone's recovery. Adding to the incentive, his close associate DJ Tunez has pledged an additional N2 million, bringing the total reward to a staggering N7 million. The announcement was shared by X user @Dayoreigns, who wrote:

"Wizkid lost his phone while performing. Whoever finds it will get 7m, 5m from Wizkid and 2m from DJ Tunez."

Entertainment Industry Dinner Highlights

This development comes shortly after Wizkid hosted a private dinner in Lagos, gathering some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars. Guests included 2Baba, Olamide, Wande Coal, Tems, Ruger, and Seyi Vibez.

A highlight of the evening was Wizkid introducing Seyi Vibez to 2Baba, showcasing his role as a connector within the industry. Videos from the night also captured moments of Wizkid ensuring Ruger, Tems, and others participated in a group video—a testament to his camaraderie with fellow artists.

As fans and well-wishers express hope for the return of Wizkid's phone, this incident adds to the memorable moments of the Nativeland concert and highlights the superstar's generosity and commitment to recovering his lost property.
