The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has reacted to former U.

S. President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at banning biological men from competing in women’s sports.

On Wednesday, Trump signed the “No Men in Women’s Sports” executive order, setting a nationwide standard on the issue.

In response, NCAA President Charlie Baker acknowledged the order, stating that it provides a "clear, national standard" for student-athlete eligibility. He confirmed that the NCAA Board of Governors would review the order and adjust its policies accordingly in the coming days.
"We strongly believe that clear, consistent, and uniform eligibility standards are better for student-athletes than a patchwork of conflicting state laws and court decisions. President Trump’s order establishes a clear national framework," Baker said.

He also reassured schools that the NCAA is prepared to assist in supporting any student-athletes affected by the policy changes.

Stay updated for more developments as the NCAA moves toward implementing new eligibility guidelines.
