It is becoming a reality that when a leader of a group is arrested, the sheep might scatter and this is the present state of the Biafra agitating group; the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has two groups that are now fighting on who is in charge of the organization now.

It will be recalled that the Supreme Leader of IPOB; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in June ending and he has been in the DSS custody since then, however, few weeks after his arrests it was reported that Kanu approved the appointment of Simon Ekpa as the director of Radio Biafra, the media unit of IPOB that talks about the values and relevance of the organization.

However, since the departure of the last deputy leader, Uche Mefor, Kanu has set up some group of people as the Directorate of State (DOS) and it is this group that is responsible for the controlling of the activities of Biafra, and according to the chain of command, the head of the DOS will be indirectly next in command to Kanu.

Meanwhile, since the sit at home order was given by the group, there has been a clash of power between the DOS and Simon Ekpa groop, the DOS advocated for the cancellation of the sit at home order every Monday while Simon Ekpa on the order hand wants the Sit at home order to be continuing and this has led the two groups to be fighting for the person that is totally in charge of the organization.

Just two days ago, Simon Ekpa (who is based in Finland) took to his Twitter page to blast the head of the DOS and called him a liar and deceptive person, this doesn't sit well with the supporters of DOS and they all started attacking Simon Ekpa.

It will be noted that the DOS has said some weeks ago that Simon has been removed as the head of Radio Biafra, however, this does not stop Simon from broadcasting with the channel.

We hope the group can resolve their differences and work in harmony to achieve their set goals.
