The leading PDP presidential candidate and former Vice President; Atiku Abubakar has deleted his post condemning the heinous killing of a female student yesterday in Sokoto.

Atiku has posted on his social media pages that the act is barbaric and that all the penetrators must be apprehended, however, after being threatened by some fanatic with his Presidential ambition, the former number 2 deleted his post.

Below is the deleted tweet:

There can not be a justification for such gruesome murder. Deborah Yakubu was murdered, and all those behind her death must be brought to justice,” Mr Atiku said. “My condolences to her family and friends.”

A spokesman for Mr Abubkar did not return a request seeking comments about why he took down the post on Facebook.
