Though new cases of the novel coronavirus are being recorded in the country, however, the positive news is that many people have been recovering from the virus especially from the Lagos state isolation centre.

Today, the executive Governor of Lagos Babajide Sanwo Olu announces that another 5 patients have been discharged from the state.

The Governor made this know through his verified twitter handle.

He tweets:

Dear Lagosians, yesterday I announced the discharge of one more patient from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, I am happy to inform you that five more patients comprising two males and three females including a 10 year old girl have tested negative twice to #COVID19.

We wish all remaining patients quick recovery.
