In Ilorin, Kwara State, a man named Mohammed Faworaja lost his life while attempting to flee from a German shepherd dog.
The incident occurred around Asa Dam, in the Warah-Osin area, Ilorin West Local Government Area.
According to a source, the unleashed dog chased Mohammed, leading him to collide with an electric pole. This collision caused fatal internal injuries, resulting in his untimely death. Heartbreakingly, beside the pole where the accident occurred, the canned fish (Sardine) he went to purchase was found lying.
Mohammed Faworaja was a friendly individual believed to be around 33 years old and served as the main provider for his family. His sudden demise has left the family devastated, particularly his father, who had retired and entrusted everything to him.
The local authorities, including the police, have taken action in response to the incident.
