The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently transferred 14 recovered assets to Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State.

This significant event took place at the EFCC Headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, with the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, presiding over the handover ceremony on Wednesday.

Olukoyede disclosed that these assets, which were forfeited to the Federal Government, were the result of an EFCC investigation initiated as far back as 2007. Through diligent efforts, the EFCC successfully secured convictions related to the matter.

Moreover, it was revealed that President Bola Tinubu authorized the transfer of various assets—including real estate, radio and television transmission equipment, and medical facilities—to the Enugu State Government in response to a request from the EFCC.

Stay tuned for further details as this story unfolds.
