In an effort to change the court's order requiring the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to inspect the materials used to conduct the presidential election on February 25, Mr.

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, stormed the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

A retinue of party chieftains, including Chief Victor Umeh, the senator-elect for Anambra Central, accompanied Obi to the courtroom.

The presidential candidate was escorted into the courtroom by a retinue of attorneys, including the Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANS), who are expected to contest the results of the February 25 presidential election at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Julius Abure is also a member of the presidential candidate's entourage in addition to Chief Victor Umeh, the National Chairman of the Labour Party.

Meanwhile, the Justice Joseph Ikyegh-led panel of the Court of Appeal is awaiting a decision on the INEC's request.

The court will also rule on the applications of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking the court to allow them to also carry out similar inspections of electoral materials used for the February 25 presidential election.

Details later.
