The Appeal Court will preside on the following prayers against Tinubu & INEC:
1. Drug case/$460,000 forfeiture
2. Scoring below 25% in FCT
3. Forged certificate
4. INEC's procedural flaws
5. Shettima's double nomination
6. Electoral fraud
7. Perjury.
First case to be heard at the Tribunal today is AA vs INEC, APC and Tinubu
Counsel of AA is present Barr Adekunle Omoaje, INEC is represented by Barr May who is a Director in INEC
Barr Lalong (Plateau Gov) is representing Tinubu for this case
The Judge has told Lalong he cannot represent Tinubu because “you cannot represent an individual and as a lawyer you should know that”.
So Lalong has stated he would now represent APC.
The Tribunal has now withdrawn the case between AA vs INEC, APC and Tinubu as both of the lawyers stated they want to withdraw the case.
The second Hearing before the Peter Obi’s case is APM vs INEC, APC and Tinubu.
This second case is taking time. They are currently ensuring all parties have submitted their replies.
APC lawyers stated during the adoption that they have filed all their replies and “for now we have nothing to hide”
The second case has been adjourned to 10th of May.
