According to reports, the student gave birth in a hostel toilet on Monday, June 10. She then allegedly threw the newborn from the top floor of a three-story building. A video from the scene shows the lifeless body of the baby on the concrete below, with two students attempting to wrap the baby and the placenta in a towel. Other students are seen watching in shock and condemning the mother's actions.

Another video captures a large crowd of students gathering to witness the 200-level student being led away by school authorities.

The school's spokesperson, Abdullahi Bello, confirmed the incident on Monday.
