Ismaila Mustapha, also known as Mompha, is a popular user of social media and has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Mompha's alleged N6 billion money laundering trial before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Ikeja Special Offenses Court reportedly stalled on June 30, 2022, according to The PUNCH.

Mustapha and his business, Ismalob Global Investment Ltd., were accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of eight counts relating to money laundering, conspiracy to launder money obtained through illegal activity, and laundering of money obtained through illegal activity.

Other charges include failure to disclose assets, possession of a document containing false pretenses, use of property obtained through unlawful means, and retention of proceeds of criminal conduct.

Upon Mustapha's absence from court on June 22, Justice Dada issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Dada also revoked the bail that was granted to the defendant. The social media celebrity was absent in court on June 16.
