A TikTok user described how she moved in with her Yoruba boyfriend and eventually became his "sister.

The woman admitted that the Nigerian man checked all the right boxes and said all the right things, and she admitted to falling for it all.

She also revealed that while she was working as a waitress at the time, her Yoruba boyfriend pretended to be a financial analyst but withheld all of his pay, despite the fact that she gave him some of her earnings.

But after they moved in together because they shared a street, he told her to start behaving like his sister because the landlords intended to raise the rent because there were now two occupants.

She continued by saying that although she was excellent in the role, she was unaware that the man had coerced her into it because he was seeing someone else in the same apartment complex.
