After several weeks of total lockdown in the most populous city in Nigeria and the centre of commerce for the country, the President of Nigeria later yesterday night said the lockdown will be relaxed starting from May 4, 2020.
And this decision will be followed by strict adherence to social distancing, curfew and other hygiene strategies.
However, as many people are commending the president for lifting the lockdown which will pave way for your economic activities to be open.
However, the major question that has been trending the internet is that, can social distancing work effectively in Lagos state, a state that majority of people use public transport system that always over loaded and congested.? Even the ticketing point for BRT is always a time of struggle for people, how will people adapt to the new system?
These and more are the questions that are begging for answers.
It is to be noted that, the lockdown has been the main reason Nigeria has not experience an exponential increase in the novel virus case.
