In a chilling incident from Oroakpo community in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, a 22-year-old man identified as Precious has confessed to selling one of a local family’s triplets for ₦200,000 to suspected Yahoo boys involved in ritual killings.

Precious, apprehended by local youths after the girl was reported missing, admitted to orchestrating the sale with the Yahoo boys, who lured him with the promise of financial gain. Despite the agreement, Precious claimed he had not received any money at the time of his arrest. Heartbreakingly, he revealed that the girl was killed in his presence shortly after he handed her over.

In a statement to the police, Precious recounted how he initially approached his girlfriend, the sister of the triplets, proposing the sale of one of the children. When she outrightly refused and walked away, Precious devised a sinister plan. He later sent someone to summon one of the girls and personally led her to the Yahoo boys. Shortly after, the horrific killing occurred, and the child’s body was buried in a shallow grave.

The shocking crime has left the Oroakpo community in disbelief, highlighting the growing dangers of ritual killings and the devastating impact on innocent families. Authorities are currently investigating the case to ensure justice is served.
