In a tragic turn of events, Osazuwa Agbonayinma, the American-based Nigerian singer widely known as Zuwa and one half of the musical duo Roze, has been fatally shot and killed in the United States.



While specific details surrounding the circumstances of his death remain unclear, his father, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former Nigerian lawmaker, confirmed the heartbreaking news to Entertainment News on Channels Television. According to the grieving father, his son, a talented singer who also held a master's degree in Architecture, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the back of the head on Sunday.

The late singer, who formed the musical duo Roze alongside his brother Eghosa, had contributed to the music scene with several releases, including the critically acclaimed track 'Ileke' in 2020.

It was a tensed Tuesday in Nhava community of Imo state as some yet to be identified gun men gunned down two traditional rulers in the community.The gunmen invaded the Njaba local Government Headquarters where the traditional rulers were having a meeting and shot two of them dead.The two rulers killed were simply identified as 'Eze Okwudor' and 'Ihebinowerre'.The reason for the killing of the traditional rulers is yet to be known as at the time of this report.
