The news of his passing has sent shockwaves through the community, marking a significant loss for Nigerian cinema.


Veteran entertainer and actor Segun Arinze broke the heartbreaking news on Sunday via Nollywood Giants, a WhatsApp platform for notable Nigerian entertainers. Arinze expressed his deep sorrow over Ebere's demise, underscoring the profound impact of the loss.


The National Secretary of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Perekeme Odon, also confirmed the sad news. "We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear brother and colleague, Mr. Reginald Ebere," Odon announced, reflecting the collective grief of the filmmaking community.
