Following the ongoing fight against corruption in the country, the National youth service corp through the director general has used a way to fish out some fake graduates who wanted to take part in the one year program with forged certificates.

The Nysc has decried the presentation of fake academic credentials and attempt to smuggle names of unqualified persons into the mobilization list.

Among the last batch of corp members, 95 fake graduates, 60 from Nigerian universities and the other 35 from other west African universities participated in the scheme until they were caught.

Brig Gen Shaibu Ibrahim, the director general of Nysc when addressing the newsmen stated that Nysc act prescribes a four years jail term for presentation of fake credentials for mobilization.
