On Easter Day, the Nigerian Army spoke out about the trending hashtag #OrluIsBleeding on social media in Nigeria.

Thousands of #OrluIsBleeding posts depict horrific photos and videos of people who have lost their lives as a result of a shootout.

However, beginning April 17, 2022, it includes unconfirmed posts made by Twitter and other social media users.

Authorities tell Naijacrawl that on Sunday evening, it was the security men and "unknown gunmen" who clashed.

The shooting took place in the Orlu district of Imo State in Southeast Nigeria, and no one knows how many people were killed.

"Security personnel must put in their effort to restore people's tranquility and trust."

Declan Emelumba, the state's commissioner for information, told Naijacrawl on Monday that he didn't know what he was talking about.
