Voters in Imo State's Aladinma Ward 013, Customs Quarters Ward 016, and Owerri North Local Government Area have expressed their anger and disappointment that INEC officials were not present at the polling locations.
One of them, Victor Madu, expressed his disappointment to Naijacrawl about the fact that elections had still not started at the center despite INEC's assurances.
The voter turnout was impressive during Naijacrawl's visit to Ward 003, Afor Egbu, Owerri North, at 8:45 am, but security personnel and INEC representatives weren't present.
Voters in Emekuku Ward 001 of Owerri North Local Government were said to be angry and dissatisfied because no INEC officials or security personnel were present.
Similar circumstances occurred at Emekuku Ward 003, where a large number of voters turned out at around 8:55 am, but there was no security for operatives or INEC representatives.

At Afor Orogwe Ward 006 Owerri West LGA, 9:15 am, there was an impressive turnout of voters, the presence of security operatives, INEC officials yet to arrive.
Nkaramoche Ihiagwa, Ward 6 PU 014 with 750 valid voters, and Anya Kindred N karamoche Ihiagwa, with 346 valid registration with polling unit 015; there was no INEC official but police presence.
Unlike other areas visited, at Azuzii Ward 005 Poll and Umushioke Village, Booth 21, there was a high turnout of voters; security operatives and INEC officials were present.
Doreen Ekeada, another voter, lashed out at the absence of INEC representatives, appealing to authorities to intervene.
