Peter Obi donates 2million naira to the victims of the Onitsha fire incident.
Following the recent fire incident in the commercial city of Onitsha, so many individuals and groups have been visiting and compensating the affected persons.
Remember some days ago, a fuel tanker fell in the upper iweka area of Onitsha and exploded while the fire traveled to the popular ochanja market and so many lives were lost and goods worth millions of naira destroyed. So many people are identifying with the affected persons with donations and other supports. The recent one is the visit by the former governor of Anambra state and PDP vice presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi and some other dignitaries. Obi sympathized with the affected persons and encouraged them to believe in God and that they will surely rise again. He further donated the sum of 2 million naira to be used for the treatment of the affected persons.
