A bomb was defused by men from the Borno state police command at the Dalori internally displaced persons camp (IDP) in the state's Konduga LGA.
Residents of the camp awoke to discover a sack containing an improvised explosive device (IED). Everyone at the camp, including armed police officers, stood back and waited for the anti-bomb squad to arrive and verify the contents of the objects.
When the anti-bomb squad arrived, they confirmed that it was a bomb. They were able to defuse it without causing any injuries.
