Nigerian model, Samuel Nwajagu, has made history as the first African to win the prestigious Mister International pageant.

The milestone achievement took place during the 16th edition of the global competition, held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.

This year's Mister International pageant featured 47 contestants from around the world, showcasing talent, charisma, and cultural representation. Nwajagu, who earned his spot after being crowned Mister International Nigeria in July, stood out among the fierce competition.

The final round saw Nwajagu emerge as the winner, beating top contenders Nguyễn Mạnh Lân from Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto from Indonesia.

This historic win marks a proud moment for Nigeria and the entire African continent, cementing Nwajagu’s status as a trailblazer in the global modeling and pageantry scene.
