Seun, who claimed to have been with them before the incident, expressed disbelief, saying, "We were swimming together on the beach. To be honest, I do not understand how it happened because we were together, and all of a sudden they both drowned."

Seun further conveyed his condolences to the grieving parents, emphasizing the deep sorrow felt by those who were present. "I wonder how their parents will feel now because they are brothers, and I also feel terrible because we could not help," he added.

Another eyewitness, Femi, disclosed that despite the frantic efforts of friends and local divers to rescue the siblings, their attempts proved futile. "All efforts by his friends and local divers to rescue them from Ibeshe Beach did not work.
