Heartbreaking details have emerged regarding the untimely demise of a man, as reported by his sister Cynthia to the authorities.

According to Cynthia's account to the police, her brother returned home from work on Tuesday, March 12, whereupon he took some money and promptly left.

In a distressing turn of events, Cynthia recounted receiving a troubling call from her brother's employer, alleging that he had stolen N100,000 from the shop. Shortly thereafter, another call came, this time from a neighbor, informing her that her brother had been discovered lifeless at the Abijo bus stop.

Upon reaching the scene, Cynthia was confronted with the devastating sight of her brother's lifeless body, with foam emanating from his mouth and nostrils. Adding to the tragedy, an empty bottle of insecticide lay nearby, leading to the grim presumption that he had consumed its contents prior to his passing.

Authorities were swiftly summoned to the scene, and the man's body was evacuated and transported to the Epe General Hospital mortuary for further examination.

In response to inquiries, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed the incident, affirming that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death has been initiated.

As the investigation unfolds, questions linger over the circumstances leading to this tragic loss, underscoring the need for thorough scrutiny and diligent efforts to uncover the truth. The community mourns the loss of yet another life, grappling with the profound implications of this distressing event. May justice be served, and may the departed find eternal peace.
