There were sporadic shootings at Topland Amechi-Awkunanaw, snatching and burning a Toyota Sienna vehicle and a tricycle at Umueze and Agbani axis of Nkanu West LGA of the State, by miscreants alleged to be enforcing illegal sit-at-home order, which caused panic within Enugu metropolis in the morning hours of yesterday 10th January 2022.

It will be recalled that the sit-at-home order was instituted in August to facilitate the release of Nnamdi Kanu but IPOb has announced several times that the order has been repealed but some unknown gunmen still threaten the people in some parts of the South East state.
