The unprecedented academic conference on witchcraft in Africa commenced at the University of Nigeria Nzukka (UNN) yesterday despite all the antagonistic views against it.



It will be recalled that the Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) and some Islamic groups have called the proposed conference a demonic act that what to turn the side of the country to Satan, but despite this UNN management did not consider it expedient to cancel the witchcraft conference.

At the conference yesterday, there were huge turn out of people that came to enlighten themselves about the modus operandi and things that need to be known about witchcraft in Africa.The conference is expected to continue today.
