Mary has been identified as one of the victims of the explosion in Kano State's Sabon Gari district.

The blast, which occurred on Tuesday morning, May 17, claimed the lives of at least nine people.

Emmanuel Belletti, a Sabon Gari resident, posted images of the victim on Facebook on Wednesday.

"RIP sweetie. May the Almighty God give you eternal rest. "She was a victim of an event that occurred in Sabon Gari yesterday," he wrote.
